Exterior Vinyl House Trim

Tired of upkeep? Ready for long-term, maintenance-free beauty? This older couple wanted to take the maintenance headaches out of their home care and asked us to do a complete upgrade to the trim on their home – something that would be attractive for many years to come without the pain of painting and caulking.

Using Intex PVC millwork, we replaced the stately, tapered wooden pillars on the corners of the front porch with an exact match in PVC. The possibilities are endless with the Intex system since we can match virtually any texture or shape of existing millwork through a specialized process called PVC extruding. The wooden truss in the peak of the front gable and the soffit brackets giving the home unique appeal were clad in Azec Vinyl sheathing. All of the window trim was replaced with PVC trim boards, and the front porch railing was replaced with matching PVC styling.

In the back, the old wooden stairs to the second-floor deck were replaced with an entirely new system of PVC posts and railing with composite treads matching the newly installed composite board floor of the deck. Stair horses were clad in vinyl, and the new porch railings were carefully cut to match the contour of the existing fiberglass posts. The garage doors were fitted with a specially bent PVC trim piece for the header trim for a classy finish.

The completed project looks sharp. What’s more, it will provide worry-free, low-maintenance enjoyment for years to come!
